David Beecroft

He has been professional jazz musician for over 40 years and since his arrival in Europe has become an accomplished recording engineer, author of jazz methodology books as well as professional photographer for music performance, theater and dance. Both his music and his photography have a gift of portraying the poignant. From jazz soloist to orchestra musician, from the Berlin police orchestra to top 10 reggae dance group Seeed, his playing is steeped in the jazz and blues tradition. His portrayal of musicians and other performing artists indicates a deep understanding and empathy as well as the ability to reveal the inner beauty of the artistic personality. Mr. Beecroft is one of Berlin's star performers.
